EVIDENCE SEQUENCE

Move from identified drawings to one as-configured acceptance record.

This sequence structures procurement evidence. It is not a mold installation, lifting, clamping, operating or safety-validation procedure.

Freeze both sides of the interface

Identify the exact proposed clamping-unit configuration, mold revision, fixed and moving halves, mounting concept and installed options. A machine family name or a mold outline is not enough.

Collect mounting-face drawings

Request separate, dimensioned mold-side and machine-side records with datums, usable areas, patterns, center features, protrusions and revision status.

Overlay the fixed and moving sides

Compare each mold half with its configured platen. Keep centering, fixing, usable area and every clash or unavailable zone visible as separate checks.

Release the mounting method

Name the approved clamping or direct-fixing concept, component identities, access and option dependencies. Do not infer a universal method from an unconfigured template drawing.

Close installed-condition boundaries

Review mold mass and center of gravity, mold-height impact, handling route and conflicts with ejector, robot, unscrewing, hoses, guards or other installed equipment.

Retain configured acceptance evidence

Record the reviewed drawings, approved method, representative observations, deviations, final configuration and recheck triggers in the FAT, SAT or mold-trial handover.

EUROMAP's official recommendation library lists this 1996 document for mold fixing and connection dimensions, supporting a separate review of the mold-to-machine mounting interface.

This named manufacturer's technical sheet is an example of fixed/moving platen mounting drawings that distinguish hole patterns and interfaces for a reduction ring, quick clamping, robot mounting and unscrewing.

Boundary: The drawing and every value apply only to the identified ARBURG product and stated equipment. No dimension, option, performance or compatibility is transferred to NEW ORIENTAL IMM.

These answers keep envelope fit, centering, fixing, installed access and supplier capability from being mistaken for one claim.

01If a mold fits between the tie bars, is it mountable on the machine?

Not yet proven. Overall envelope fit and platen mounting fit are separate decisions. Compare the fixed and moving mold mounting faces with the configured platen drawings, centering relationship, approved fixing method, usable area, installed obstructions, load boundaries and acceptance evidence.

02Is the nominal platen size enough to confirm mold mounting?

No. The review needs the usable mounting face, drilling or slot pattern, center features, unavailable regions, installed options and the mold's actual fixed- and moving-side mounting details.

03Does a matching locating feature prove the whole interface fits?

No. Centering is one check. The fixing pattern or clamp arrangement, contact area, access, mold height, weight and center of gravity, ejector relationship, protrusions and configured obstructions still need separate evidence.

04Can an ARBURG platen drawing be used to size a NEW ORIENTAL IMM machine?

No. The cited ARBURG sheet only demonstrates how one named manufacturer documents a product-specific mounting face and adjacent interfaces. Request supplier-controlled drawings for the exact proposed machine configuration.

05Does EUROMAP 2 prove that a proposed machine is compliant or safe?

No. The official library lists EUROMAP 2 as a 1996 recommendation about mold fixing and connection dimensions. It is not treated here as a globally mandatory or current safety standard, certification or proof of supplier capability.
